Welcome to War3FT!

Counter-Strike 1.6 with Warcraft 3 races and spells. Earn XP, level up, unlock skills. Your XP is saved (by SteamID) from one game to the next.

Getting started

Pick a race in the first menu. Then, in chat:

`/help`	this guide again (or `help` in the console)
`/changerace`	change race (at your next respawn)
`/war3menu`	the main menu
`/selectskill`	pick your skills
`/skillsinfo`	what your race's skills do
`/level`	your race, level and skills
`/shopmenu`, `/shopmenu2`	buy items
`/rtv`	ask for a new map (vote at 60 % of humans)
`/votekick`	vote to kick a player for 10 minutes: at 60 % of the other humans (at least 3 humans)
`/rank`, `/top15`	your combat rank, the top 15
`/ach`	your achievements: 14 goals, from your first kill to 10,000
`/mystats`	the link to your page on the stats site
`/coach`	a tip from the AI coach, from your numbers on this map, only for you
`/statsme`, `/rankstats`	your stats on this map, your overall stats
`/nextmap`, `/timeleft`	the next map, time left on this one

Races

Undead Scourge	life steal, speed, higher jumps; ultimate: explodes on death
Human Alliance	invisibility, more health, stuns; ultimate: teleport
Orcish Horde	critical hits, strong grenades, keeps equipment; ultimate: chain lightning
Night Elf	evasion, reflects damage, more damage; ultimate: roots an enemy
Blood Mage	revives a teammate, banishes, steals money; ultimate: sets an enemy on fire
Shadow Hunter	group healing, turns enemies into critters, shooting ward; ultimate: invincible for 2 seconds
Warden	can spawn as a mole in the enemy base, blocks enemy ultimates, poisoned dagger; ultimate: comes back once
Crypt Lord	impale, spiked carapace, beetles; ultimate: locust swarm

On this server

The game

Respawn: you come back at once in your team's base. No rounds, no bomb.
G: the weapon menu.
3 seconds of protection after each respawn, until you shoot.
$800 to start, more with each kill, for the shops.
Every 30 minutes, a vote picks the next map.

Your progress

Levels come twice as fast. A race you have never played starts at level 3.
Your damage shows under the crosshair. An announcer for first blood and kill streaks.
At each map: your place this month and your closest achievement.
/coach: a tip from the AI coach, in private. After 5 deaths in a row it comes on its own, and near each map's end you get a summary.
The top 10 show their place in the chat; last month's top 3 a [Champion] tag.

The bots

They fill the server up to 10 players; one leaves when a human joins.
They talk back ([AI] in their name): write a bot's name in the chat, like zed, nice shot. Each one has its own character, and they remember you: kill one often, and it holds a grudge.
Ask them anything about the game: a message with a ? always gets an answer, like which race is good for a beginner?
Join a server of bots only, and the game restarts: everyone starts from zero.

Rules

Away for 60 seconds (no key, no mouse move): you become a spectator.
A ping over 300 ms for 50 seconds gets you kicked.
/votekick: the players can kick a cheater together.

The Game Master

An AI watches the score. Every 10 minutes, it may start one of these, announced in the chat and on your screen. Nothing is forced on you: play as you like, the prizes are a bonus.

Bounty	A player far ahead gets a price on their head: the prize to whoever kills them, for 3 minutes.
Duel	Two players of opposite teams: the first to kill the other wins the prize, within 3 minutes.
Challenge	A goal for every human, within 2 minutes: kills, headshots, knife or grenade kills. The first to reach it wins the prize. Your count shows in the chat.
Boss	A bot glows red, with 500 health: whoever takes it down wins the prize. It survives 3 minutes, and it is gone.
Low gravity	30 seconds of huge jumps for everyone.
Gold rain	$1500 for every player.
XP rain	100 XP for every human, for the race you play.
Gift	A War3FT shop item for everyone: boots, claws, a cloak, a ring...

The prize: $3000 and 200 XP, saved with your race like the rest of your XP.

The bots' lines and the Game Master's come from Claude, Anthropic's AI, and the latest ones show on the bots' page: your chat messages, your name and, for the coach, your numbers on the map are sent to it, nothing else about you. A second check refuses anything offensive.
